How long does a wrap last?

A properly printed, laminated and fitted wrap holds up for years of daily use - the laminate protects it from UV and washing, and fitting it flat with no lifting edges is what makes it last. Cheap, unlaminated vinyl fitted in a rush is what peels by the first winter.

Will a colour-change wrap damage the paint?

No - fitted and removed properly, a wrap comes off cleanly and actually protects the paint underneath from stone chips and UV, which is why it's popular on prestige and lease vehicles. It's reversible, unlike a respray.

Design

We set the artwork up for the job from the start - the right colours, sized to the actual panel, frontage or vehicle, not a flat logo stretched to fit. Because the same studio can build your brand and website, it all reads as one business.

Step 01

Printed in-house

Printed and laminated on our own large-format kit in the Cwmbran and Pontypool workshop. Nothing's posted off to a trade supplier, so a genuine rush is a phone call and the finish is ours to stand behind.

Step 02

Fitted or collected

Fitted on site by our install partner so it sits flat, straight and lasts - or ready to collect if you're mounting it yourself. One job from the survey to the day it goes up, not three suppliers pointing at each other.

Step 03

A wrap is only as good as the artwork and the fit, so we control both. We set the design up for the vehicle from the start - sized to the actual panels, with the door shuts and curves planned in - print and laminate it in-house on our large-format printer, then our install partner SlickSkins fits it on site so it sits flat and lasts. SlickSkins are a premium wrap, tint and paint-protection studio in Pontypool, so the fit is theirs and the design and print are ours. One outfit from the design to the day it drives off.

What to expect from vehicle wraps with the studio.

A wrap covers the whole vehicle and changes its colour entirely; sign writing applies graphics and lettering over the vehicle's existing colour. A wrap is the bigger, more expensive job and the bigger statement. A lot of trades get more from sharp sign writing done well, so we'll be straight about which one your vehicle actually needs. We do both.
