What this is

Shop & fascia signs in Cwmbran & Gwent.

We design, make and fit shopfront signage across Cwmbran, Pontypool, Newport and the wider Gwent patch - printed fascia panels, foamex and ACM signs, sign trays, and cut-vinyl lettering applied straight onto an existing fascia. Printed and made up in-house, then fitted on site by our install partner, so the sign over your door matches the brand on your website instead of being an afterthought a local printer knocked out. A shopfront gets one glance from the pavement - the sign is what turns that glance into someone walking in.

What we make

Types of shop signs we offer.

01

Fascia & flat-panel signs.

The main sign across the front of the unit - printed panel, foamex, ACM or a sign tray - sized to the frontage and finished to hold its edge outdoors, not just on screen.

02

Cut vinyl over an existing fascia.

The cheapest way to take over a unit that already has a sign board - we strip the old graphics and apply fresh cut lettering and logo straight onto the panel, usually inside a morning, for a fraction of a new sign.

03

Unit, yard & wall signs.

The board on a trade counter, an industrial unit or a yard gate - foamex, ACM or Dibond, printed and laminated to hold colour outdoors and sized so it still reads from the road.

Why it matters

What you actually get out of it.

  • 01

A frontage that reads as deliberate and established, so people trust it before they're through the door.

  • 02

A printed, laminated sign that holds its colour and its edge outdoors, still sharp a year in rather than faded and peeling.

  • 03

One brand from the sign to the website, because the same studio set the artwork up for both.

How we work

Design, print & fit, in-house.

A shop sign has to survive weather, distance and a two-second glance, so we design it for the frontage rather than shrinking a logo onto a board. We work out what the unit actually needs and what the budget will carry - fresh cut vinyl over the board that's already up, a printed and laminated panel, or a made-up sign tray - set the artwork up for print in-house, and our install partner SlickSkins fits it on site so it's straight, safe and square. Because we're in the Cwmbran and Pontypool area we can come and measure the frontage in person, which is the difference between a sign that fits and a sign that's an inch shy either side. One outfit from the survey to the day it goes up.

  1. 01

    Design

We set the artwork up for the job from the start - the right colours, sized to the actual panel, frontage or vehicle, not a flat logo stretched to fit. Because the same studio can build your brand and website, it all reads as one business.

  2. 02

    Printed in-house

Printed and laminated on our own large-format kit in the Cwmbran and Pontypool workshop. Nothing's posted off to a trade supplier, so a genuine rush is a phone call and the finish is ours to stand behind.

  3. 03

    Fitted or collected

Fitted on site by our install partner so it sits flat, straight and lasts - or ready to collect if you're mounting it yourself. One job from the survey to the day it goes up, not three suppliers pointing at each other.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Do you fit the sign or just supply it?

Both, and most people want it fitted. We design and make the sign in-house, and our install partner SlickSkins puts it up on site - straight, level and safely fixed - so you're not up a ladder or chasing a separate fitter. For a simple panel you collect and mount yourself, supply-only is fine too.

Can you come and measure the shopfront?

Yes. We're in the Cwmbran and Pontypool area and cover Gwent, so for shopfront work we'll come and measure the frontage in person where it's worth it. Measuring up properly is what stops a sign arriving an inch short either side, and it means we can spot the practical stuff - fixings, access, what's already on the board - before it's made.

Do I need planning permission for a sign?

Sometimes - it depends on size and whether the building is listed or in a conservation area, and Torfaen and Newport each have their own rules. Replacing the graphics on a fascia that's already there is usually the least trouble. We'll flag it early if your sign is likely to need advertisement consent and keep the design within what's normally allowed, so it doesn't have to come back down.
