The briefWhat was at stake

The problem

A trusted local garage that lives on word of mouth loses the searchers who never reach it - people Googling "MOT near me" at 7pm, or a Pocklington motorhome owner who never learns this is the workshop for the job. A broad service mix and a wide rural catchment were doing the work; the site had to make that legible and turn it into enquiries.

What we built

  1. A live open/closed status bar that swaps to a WhatsApp button out of hours, so an enquiry never bounces because the workshop's shut.
  2. Detail pages for every service - MOT, servicing, air-con, diagnostics, tyres - each priced and explained in plain language, so callers arrive knowing what to expect.
  3. A separate Medd Tuning section for Sedox-calibrated remaps, so performance work is sold on its own terms instead of getting buried under routine servicing.
  4. Local pages for Market Weighton, Pocklington, Howden and Selby with drive times and fact-files, so each town's searchers land on a page that speaks to them.
The valueWhat changed

The garage now has a site that organises a broad service mix and a rural catchment into one clear enquiry path, structured so a search in any nearby town lands somewhere relevant and a tap or a WhatsApp message becomes the booking. Pricing up front, Which? Trusted Trader and real reviews on show, and an out-of-hours route that keeps the line open - built to win the jobs that used to slip past.
