The briefWhat was at stake

The problem

Every enquiry used to land on the owner's phone: qualify the car, quote it, chase the reply, book the slot, send the reminders. That made him the constraint on the business, which could only grow as far as his own hours and his sleep allowed, and good leads went cold while he was under a bonnet.

What we built

  1. A reg-lookup that pulls each car's ECU, read method and projected bhp/Nm gains live, so a sceptical buyer sees real numbers for their vehicle before they commit.
  2. An AI booking assistant on a private page per lead, which qualifies the job, quotes the auto-quotable work and escalates anything POA or awkward to the owner, so straightforward bookings happen without him touching them.
  3. A custom CRM behind it all, with pipeline, per-vehicle history, jobs and calendar, so the whole operation runs from one place instead of his messages.
  4. Automated customer comms (quote-ready, booking confirmed, reminders, job-complete with before/after dyno figures, and gentle auto-chases on quiet quotes), so nothing needs chasing by hand.

The customer just chats. The AI works out their exact car, quotes the dyno-backed gains and the price, and offers real slots - Jack only steps in for the awkward ones, so straightforward jobs book themselves.

The valueWhat changed

The site lifted conversion on its own, but the real change is underneath it: lead qualification, quoting, booking and customer updates now run themselves. The AI handles the back-and-forth and books the job, the CRM keeps every vehicle and appointment in order, and the reminders and follow-ups go out without anyone remembering to send them. With the owner freed from fielding every enquiry, the business can finally take on more work than one person could ever handle by hand.

The AI handles the first conversation now. It works out the car, quotes the standard jobs and books them in, and only passes me the tricky ones. I'm not the constraint any more, which means we can take on a lot more than I could ever answer myself.
