That shows up in how people find a business here: a lot of trade still runs through one of the largest covered shopping centres in Wales, with well over 170 shops, while the manufacturing and engineering base around the town - Burton's Biscuits up at the factory, Safran Seats and the automotive and electronics firms - sits alongside the start-ups coming out of the Springboard Innovation Centre.
