Web design for dog groomers
Hand-built websites for UK dog groomers. Online booking by breed, before-and-after galleries and pricing that owners can actually understand.
01 / Why grooming sites need to do more
Owners book groomers the same way they book dentists. With anxiety.
A new dog owner with a six-month-old cockapoo is nervous about the first groom. They have heard stories. They want to see real dogs, real prices and a real face before they hand over a beloved pet for two hours. A vague 'contact for prices' page makes the anxiety worse, not better.
We build dog grooming sites that lead with before-and-after galleries, breed-based pricing and a booking flow that asks the right questions up front. Hosting, photo updates and seasonal pricing changes are all part of one monthly plan, so the site stays current without you touching it.
02 / What you get
Built for nervous owners and busy diaries
Real dogs, real prices and a booking flow that fills slots without phone tag.
Online booking with breed and size
A booking flow that captures breed, coat type and size, then suggests the right service slot. Saves the daily 'how big is your dog' phone tag with new clients.
Pricing by breed and coat
Clean pricing per breed and coat condition (smooth, double, curly, matted) instead of a vague 'from £25' line. Owners reward groomers who tell them what it actually costs.
Service menu beyond a haircut
Full groom, bath and tidy, hand strip, puppy first groom, nail clip, anal glands. Each service has a clear description, duration and price so owners pick the right one.
Before and after gallery
A real gallery of before-and-after shots of dogs you have groomed. The single most persuasive thing on a dog grooming site, especially for matted or rescue dogs.
City & Guilds and OCN credentials
Your qualifications and any insurance details displayed up front. Increasingly important for owners who have had a bad experience elsewhere and are looking for a trained groomer.
Opening hours and recurring slots
Clear opening hours, recurring slot booking for regular clients, and a 'fully booked, join the wait list' state when needed. Owners want predictability and the site delivers it.
03 / How it works
From first call to live site
Service and price map
We map your service menu, your breed-based pricing and your typical client mix. Salon, mobile or both. Each setup needs a different homepage approach.
Photos and gallery
We help you choose the strongest before-and-after shots and any salon photos. Real dogs, real owners, no stock imagery anywhere.
Build and book
We build the site, wire up the booking flow with breed and size capture, and connect Stripe if you take deposits.
Live and looked after
We go live and update prices, opening hours, gallery and seasonal news (Christmas, summer clip-down) on request.
FAQ
Common questions
Can the booking system handle different prices per breed?
Yes. The booking flow asks for breed and size, suggests the matching service and shows the price before the owner confirms. No more surprise prices when they arrive at the salon, and no more unbookable mismatches.
Can I take a deposit at booking?
Yes. We connect Stripe for deposits or full pre-payment, which dramatically cuts no-shows. Most groomers find a £10-£15 deposit is the sweet spot.
What about mobile dog grooming vans?
We add a coverage area page with the postcodes you cover, parking and water requirements, and a slightly different booking flow that captures address details. Mobile groomers benefit hugely from the area-based search traffic.
Should I really show before-and-after photos?
Yes, especially for matted or rescue dogs. Owners with a difficult coat are looking for a groomer who can handle it without shaving the dog out of frustration. The right gallery shot wins them on the spot.
Can the site handle a wait list when I am fully booked?
Yes. When your diary is full, the booking page can switch to a wait list capture form. You contact people when slots open up. Better than turning new clients away with a 'sorry, fully booked' email.
What about cats, rabbits and small animals?
If you groom them, they get their own page with their own pricing and booking flow. Owners search for these specifically and most groomer websites bury them in a footer note.
