Web design for driving instructors

Hand-built websites for UK driving instructors. Pass rates, pricing, gift vouchers and area pages that win local learners.

01 / Why instructor sites need to do more

A driving instructor's website is a quietly competitive thing

Type 'driving instructor [your town]' into Google. The top results are usually a wall of identical Wix or Yola sites with stock car photos and a vague 'high pass rates' line. Parents and learners scroll past most of them and call the one that shows real prices, real pass rates and a real face.

We build instructor sites that lead with credibility and convert learners on the page. Pricing tables, area coverage, intensive courses and gift vouchers all sit on one tidy site. Hosting, ongoing changes and seasonal updates are part of one monthly plan.

02 / What you get

Designed to win local searches and fill your diary

Trust signals, pricing transparency and seasonal income, all in one calm site.

Areas covered map

A clear list of postcodes and towns you cover, with a map and clickable area pages. Learners search 'driving instructor [town]' and you want to be the first result for every one of them.

Pass rate and DVSA grade on display

Your DVSA Standards Check grade, real pass-rate stats and ADI badge prominently shown. The fastest way to win trust against a wall of lookalike instructors.

Lesson types and pricing tables

Hourly, block of ten, automatic, manual, refresher, motorway lessons and Pass Plus, all priced clearly. Learners and parents compare on price and quietly reward the instructors who show it.

Intensive course landing page

A dedicated page for intensive and semi-intensive courses with the typical timeline, what is included, and a booking form. Sells the higher-ticket service properly.

Gift voucher purchase

Birthday and Christmas gift vouchers as a one-click buy with delivery by email. Quietly seasonal income that pays for the website on its own.

Theory and hazard perception resources

A simple resources page linking to free theory test practice and tips. Brings learners into your orbit before they even need lessons, then converts them when they do.

03 / How it works

From first call to live site

01

Patch and packages

We map the postcodes you actually want to teach in, your lesson packages and your typical learner profile. Quality of patch matters more than quantity.

02

Pricing and pages

We design the pricing tables, the area pages and the intensive course page, and decide what goes on the homepage above the fold.

03

Build and book

We build the site, wire up the booking and gift voucher purchase, and connect any payment tool you use for deposits.

04

Live and seasonal

We go live and update prices, availability and seasonal banners (Christmas vouchers, summer intensives) on request.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I really put pass rates on my site?

Yes, if they are real and you can back them up. Honest pass rates are a competitive advantage because most local instructors hide them. Even an honest 'first-time pass rate around 65%' beats 'high pass rates' from a rival.

Can I sell gift vouchers through the site?

Yes. We connect Stripe for one-off purchases and email the voucher to the recipient automatically. Christmas alone usually pays back a year of website fees for instructors who promote them.

How do you handle the area pages?

We build one page per town or large postcode you cover, each with a paragraph about the local test centre, common routes, and parking realities for picking learners up. They quietly pull in the right local searches.

Will the site take bookings?

Either an enquiry form or a live booking widget, depending on how you run your diary. Most instructors prefer the enquiry form so they can place new learners deliberately. Returning learners get a separate flow.

Can you list both manual and automatic clearly?

Yes. Each gets its own service page, its own price column and a clear note on which cars you teach in. Automatic is a growing share of new learners and worth pulling out.

Can you show my ADI grade and DVSA registration?

Yes. ADI registration number, grade A or B and any other accreditations sit prominently on the homepage and About page. Learners and parents look for these specifically.
