Take over from an absent developer
If your developer has gone quiet, gone abroad, gone out of business or just gone weird, we can step in. We do not need their cooperation to get you back in control of your site, your domain and your hosting.
Recover content from a dead site
If the site is offline we can usually recover the content from web archives, hosting backups, or whatever logins you still have. We extract the copy, the images and the structure, then rebuild the site cleanly.
Reclaim your domain
Domain registered in someone else's name? Hosting tied to an email nobody can access? We have walked through that maze before. We help you regain control through the proper channels and put it in your name where it belongs.
Patch first, redesign later
If the site is broken but the business needs to be online by next week, we can patch what is there as a holding measure, then plan a proper rebuild after the immediate fire is out.
Migrate to safe ground
Whatever the site is built on now, we move it to modern hosting under your control. No more mystery server, no more hosting bill from a company you cannot phone, no more annual panic when something expires.
Stay running afterwards

Tell us what is broken and how urgent it is. We assess the damage, the access you still have, and what the fastest route back online looks like.
Stabilise
First job is to get you back in the room. Recover content, secure the domain, restore hosting where possible, take a clean backup of everything we can.
Rebuild
We rebuild the site on modern hosting, migrate the recovered content, fix the things that were broken before, and stand it up on a staging URL for you to check.
Look after
Once the rescue is complete you move onto the standard monthly plan. We host, monitor, back up and update the site so nothing slides back.
FAQ
Common questions
My old developer has vanished, can you help?
Yes. This is the most common rescue. As long as you have access to your domain registrar (and even sometimes when you do not), we can rebuild the site, migrate to new hosting, and get you back in control without needing the original developer to lift a finger.
What if the site is completely offline?
We can usually recover the content from the Wayback Machine, from hosting backups if any still exist, or from any dashboards you still have logins for. It is rare for everything to be unrecoverable. Either way the next step is rebuilding it on new hosting.
How fast can you get me back online?
If we are putting up a holding page with your contact details and key info, the same day. If we are rebuilding the full site, anywhere from a few days to two weeks depending on how much content needs recovering.
What about my domain and email?
Step one is making sure you control the domain. If it is locked into a third party we walk you through the recovery process. Email forwarding is set up alongside the new hosting so business email keeps working through the rescue.
Do I need to find my old logins?
Helpful but not essential. The more access you have, the faster the rescue, but we have rebuilt sites for owners who only had the URL written on a Post-it. Tell us what you have and we will work with it.
What does a rescue cost?
Same monthly plan as everything else. £79/month covers the rescue, the rebuild and the ongoing care. There is no emergency surcharge and no separate project fee on top. We picked the monthly model partly so rescues did not need a special pricing conversation.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
If the site has been offline a while, some search traffic will already be gone. We restore as much of the original URL structure as possible so what does come back lands on the right pages. Most rescues recover their rankings within a few weeks of going live again.
